2007
I started my small one person operation after retirement from the professional business world. After retirement I got involved with sewing projects for friends and family. When my beautiful 2 year old grandson, Ryan, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I decided that my sewing expertise could be used to financially help my daughter (a single Mom) fund his need for a therapeutic pre-school and specialized treatments which he requires in order to grow and develop to his fullest potential.
Update as of 2011
During the past 4 years since starting my business, I have gone through many changes...both happy and sad. On the happy side my grandson has progressed in so many areas. He's a happy little boy and is doing an amazing job in his 1st grade class. On the sad side my loving husband passed away last year. Because of his illness I have had my business on hiatus for over a year.
Past, Present & Future
My business is based on the belief that customers' needs are of the utmost importance. I'm committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
